Die Halle ist an der Geroltstr. 50,direkt an der Ridlerstr. und gehört zu Carl-von-Linde Realschule. ca. 3 MIn Fußmarsch vom Heimeranplatz.

*Anfahrt mit Bus und Bahn ist schwierig, daher bitte ggf. Fahrgemeinschaften organisieren

Das beudet alles wird aufgeräumt und winterfein gemacht. Jede helfende Hand wird gebraucht für z.B. Laub wegschaffen, Müll und Sperrmüll wegbringen, Hecke begradigen, Anlage winterfest machen u.s.w.

Soweit vorhanden gerne auch Hilfsmittel wie z.B. Harken, Rechen und sonstige Gerätschaft mitbringen.

Die Hilfe beim Ramadama wird belohnt, denn es besteht die Möglichkeit Arbeitsstunden abzuleisten.

Munich was also scheduled to play Kaiserslautern on this gameday who unfortunately had to forfeit due to too few players. Kaiserslautern though, still traveled to Würzburg with their available members to play a friendly game against the Munich A squad and completed their roster with available Munich B players. The game was essential for the referees who planned on calling the match, so despite the forfeit it was a positive move for the sake of playing good lacrosse all around and supporting the growth of qualified officials in the German league.

The Munich A team now enters the winter pause undefeated in the South league, with their lowest margin of victory at 17 points, which came against the Munich B team on Sept 25 with an 18-1 score. During the winter months' break, Kenworthy has no intention of letting his team slow down as he plans to keep them working hard, motivated (by cake) and ready to run and gun full speed come spring.

Generell lässt sich festhalten, das mit dem deutlichen Sieg ein versöhnlicher Ausgang des Jahres 2011 zu vermerken ist, das für die Herren vom enttäuschenden dritten Platz bei den deutschen Meisterschaften geprägt war. Mit neuem Trainer Adam Marshall und neuen Ideen wollen die Herren aber noch einmal den Angriff auf Deutschlands Spitze wagen und den Titel 2012 wieder nach München holen.

The game quickly went in Karlsruhe’s favor as they took control of the draws and groundballs from the start. Munich, however, began to pull themselves together, eventually evening out the stats by halftime and consciously attacking more groundballs. During halftime, coach Joe Kenworthy reinforced defensive concepts that were lacking and also worked with the attack to control some offensive penalties.

Munich picked up their game, and played much cleaner lacrosse with the defense working much better together, but unfortunately fell to Karlsruhe 12-8.

Still warm from the Karlruhe game, Munich forged on to face Kaiserslautern playing 10 v 10. The game started off similar to the previous one, with Munich falling in draw controls and down in points from the start. Before Kenworthy could call a timeout though, the defense seemed to remember the lessons learned from the previous game and picked up their aggressive play. Slides came quicker and the collapses were immediate on their better ball handlers. Midfield transitions made a drastic improvement from the last game, and the attack played more settled and under control. Munich was able to catch up and soon it was a back and forth game until the second half when Kaiserslautern began to pull away with a 3 goal lead.

Munich would not go down without a fight, which was seen late in the second half when attacker Katja Weise gave them the boost they needed by scoring three consecutive goals to tie the game with just four minutes to play. Fired up and determined to keep the momentum, Munich persevered to score the final goal of the game, despite solid effort from Kaiserslautern who fought hard until the end. The game ended 16-15 in Munich’s favor resulting in their first victory of the season, and well-deserved at that. Co-captain and goalie Maria Widiger had back-to-back stand-out performances, making crucial saves in both games.

After traveling to and spending the night in Würzburg, the team faced their hosts who had a sideline of fans on their home field. The Munich women were able to start on top this time though, taking the first goals and leading for the entirety of the game until the final whistle called the 7-2 Munich victory. Kenworthy praised the defensive efforts for coming a long way with much improvement since the first game Saturday morning.

The three games in one weekend were a great opportunity for the team to play together, recognize opportunities for improvement and actually have the time to implement them. Ending this half of the season on a high note, yet with still much work to do, the Munich B team enters the winter motivated, ready to work hard, and come out even stronger for the back round of the season.
